Saturdays 09.00 from All Hallows’ car park.
This is the main weekly TCC Club Ride and we meet all-year-round from the car park of All Hallows’ Church (car park entrance at the end of Erncroft Way) at 09.00. There are various ability groups of up to eight riders, with the faster groups leaving first. There are always two experienced riders on hand to take out new riders.
The ride is around 40 miles long and goes out to Chobham via Sunbury, Staines, Egham, Longcross, Windlesham. There is a coffee stop, normally at Pasha in Chobham or at Fairoaks Airport Café, before returning via Stonehill, Chertsey, Shepperton, and Hampton (GPX/TCX files below). The ride normally gets back to Twickenham at around 12.30.
This is a no-drop ride, but members are encouraged to try a faster group if they think it appropriate. They can do this safe in the knowledge that they can drop back to a slower group behind if they need to.

Monthly Alternative Saturday Ride.
On the first Saturday of each month there is an optional, steady-paced, alternative ride in addition to the usual club ride. The route changes each month and is published in advance, but the ride generally goes out into the Surrey Hills with a coffee stop en-route.
Tuesdays 19.00 from the new club room at The Patch TW1 3BW.
Tuesday’s ride is another all-year-round affair. It leaves from 19.00, tends to be faster than Saturdays and is a chaingang riding out to Windsor in the lighter summer months and a shorter, better-lit route in Winter.
The Tuesday ride leaves from a new location as of 1st August 2023. The Patch, 42 York Street, Twickenham, TW1 3BW. You sign-on for the ride and can leave bags for safe-keeping in the clubroom, returning for tea, cake and chat at the end of the ride.
Tuesday evening is an excellent opportunity for prospective members to come to the club room and have a cup of tea and a chat to our clubroom volunteers up to 9pm.

Tuesdays 19.15 Winter Turbo Sessions on Zoom
From October through to April, as an alternative to the Tuesday club ride, we have coached turbo sessions. These are well-structured training plans – one each side of a Christmas break – and are free to members. A number of members have seen a marked improvement in their FTP as a result of these sessions.
You don’t need any fancy equipment other than some kind of turbo trainer and an internet-connected device to access a Zoom meeting.
If you do have a smart trainer, Zwift, etc, the sessions are run concurrently as a group ride on Zwift. This gives you the choice of looking at your clubmates’ avatars on Zwift or their gurning faces on Zoom! (Of course, there’s no pressure for you to have your camera switched on, so long as you can hear the coach’s instructions).
