West London Combine '25 – 30/09

An SB for Lisa, and PB's for both Darren and Mark all proved that braving the conditions bore fruit in this time trial held on the Amersham Road course.

This event was was nearly cancelled due to Fog, and then nearly again cancelled due to Heavy Rain and Lightening so these times are VERY impressive!

Well Done All.

Rad Am Ring 24 Hour Race – Nurburgring - 23 to 24/08

John Warnock Reports :-

"Fantastic event and a real privilege to ride such a historic circuit. It's a strange event with local people riding the first lap (starting at the front!), a load of people doing 6 hours next and a load more doing 24 hours. So everyone gets in each others way after 1/2 a lap on the really fast bit (some people clocked over 90kp/h). What goes down must come up tho and there's a big climb in the middle part of the course which had a lot of people walking. Fortunately there's a refreshments point at the top. A lap is about 40 mins if you're quick; 50 for most club riders and maybe 70mins for "tourists" all in dense woodland on perfect tarmac. The organisation is excellent with a running results service, camping in the pit garages for the elite teams and on the tarmac beside the new GP circuit for the rest, both of which have free electrical sockets which is very civilised."

"Would be a good one to get TCC to next year as the 6-hour would be enough for many people but those that wanted a real challenge could do the 24 as a team (there were solos, pair and 4-man/woman teams). Having said that I think a lot of the 24-hour riders didn't ride all the way through the night so people could enter the 24-hour and do as much or as little as they wanted. I'm told we finished 15th of 467 in the 4-man teams and everyone's keen to go back to improve on that. Highly recommended!"
