13 laps of the Staple Hill circuit faced the 32 starter field
in the final round of this year's Twickenham
CC Ottershaw Winter Series. The testing conditions did
little to dissuade Angus McAllister (Norwood Paragon) from making a
fine solo break and remain ahead of his fellow combatants for a large
portion of the race, only to be chased down by Paul Holdsworth
(Hounslow & District Wh.) and Simon Ernest (AW Cycles). The final mix-up saw victory go to Ex-Twickenham member Luke Merrilees, followed in by Sam Humpheson, and the battling Paul Holdsworth.
