Sigma Sport's Steve Golla took a hard fought for victory in this gruelling encounter. The attacks came straight from "the off", & when one break was caught, another ensued almost immediately. Noticeable efforts came from local TT Ace Paul Holdsworth, Sandy King, & Simon Brooks, who was lively throughout the race. Mark Spindler and Neil Bradford where also to the fore, and on the last of the big circuits led the pack through.
Brooks & Golla eventually grabbed the race by it's horns, before Golla dropped Brooks with a lap to go. When it came to the final dash, Golla's margin was rapidly reduced, but he held on to take the spoils from Lewis Atkins and Jason White, with Neil Bradford returning in 17th.
There were many compliments from the riders afterwards about the marshalling - Thanks to those who came along & helped out.
Lisa West recorded a Season's Best 1:13:00 on the H25/2 course. With over 100 riders taking part, a great deal of quality was on display, with no less than 46 coming home in under the hour on this popular course.
