National Track Championships - Manchester - 21-25/09/10

Corrine Enters the Hall of Fame

Twickenham CC were represented at this year's National Track Championships by Emma Williams riding in the Women's 500m TT recording a PB of 45.317 (report), and James Viner in the Men's Kilo finishing with a 1:13.914 (report). 

 Corrine Hall took GOLD in a thrilling Women's Points Race (report), and 6th in the 3K Individual Pursuit (report).

3 Peaks Cyclo-Cross - Settle (N. Yorks) - 26/09/10

The 3 Peaks Cyclo-Cross is staged in the Yorkshire Dales National Park every year at the end of September. It is the toughest and biggest Cyclo-Cross event in the UK.

Total distance: 61kms (38 miles)
Road: 28kms (45mins - 1hr 5mins)
Unsurfaced: 33kms (2hrs 15mins - 4hrs 40mins)
Unrideable: 6kms - 8kms (dependent on individual ability & prevailing conditions)
Total climbing: 1524m (5000ft)
